Junior Video Editor

Role Overview

We are seeking a Video Editor with 0–2 years of experience who can handle a wide range of video formats and bring strong storytelling, pacing, and visual sensibility to their work. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce high-quality video content across formats, including:
    • Short-form videos (social media, reels, promotional clips)
    • Long-form content (interviews, podcasts, documentaries, event coverage)
  • Create engaging visual narratives using effective pacing, transitions, and sound design
  • Work with raw footage to assemble cohesive stories aligned with project goals
  • Incorporate graphics, motion elements, and dynamic transitions where required
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand creative direction and deliver accordingly
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Maintain organized project files and workflows

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of hands-on experience in video editing
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
  • Strong sense of pacing, timing, and music selection
  • Understanding of storytelling principles and audience engagement
  • Ability to adapt editing styles for different platforms and formats
  • Strong attention to detail and visual consistency

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Basic to intermediate graphic design skills
  • Experience with image manipulation tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop)
  • Familiarity with motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects)
  • Understanding of social media content trends and formats
