Junior Video Editor
Role Overview
We are seeking a Video Editor with 0–2 years of experience who can handle a wide range of video formats and bring strong storytelling, pacing, and visual sensibility to their work. This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality video content across formats, including:
- Short-form videos (social media, reels, promotional clips)
- Long-form content (interviews, podcasts, documentaries, event coverage)
- Create engaging visual narratives using effective pacing, transitions, and sound design
- Work with raw footage to assemble cohesive stories aligned with project goals
- Incorporate graphics, motion elements, and dynamic transitions where required
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand creative direction and deliver accordingly
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Maintain organized project files and workflows
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 0–2 years of hands-on experience in video editing
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
- Strong sense of pacing, timing, and music selection
- Understanding of storytelling principles and audience engagement
- Ability to adapt editing styles for different platforms and formats
- Strong attention to detail and visual consistency
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Basic to intermediate graphic design skills
- Experience with image manipulation tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop)
- Familiarity with motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects)
- Understanding of social media content trends and formats
