We do so by harnessing the power of AT & supporting development of innovative technology products and services. In a span of 4 years, ATF has impacted the lives of 9.1 lakh (910,000) Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) through its high impact programs and initiatives. ATF has a network of 450+ Assistive Technology Startups/ innovators in the country. ATF also co-founded a global network Inclusive Innovation Network with organizations in 6 other countries.
About the Program:
Adidvara is India’s first digital platform designed to connect PwDs with assistive technology, enabling better access to learning, job, and living opportunities through innovative tech solutions.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Community Manager to drive Adidvara’s success by building strong connections with PwDs, employers, and key stakeholders. The role involves extensive travel across Karnataka, including both urban and rural areas, to increase platform adoption and user engagement.
Key Requirements:
- Proficiency in Kannada (spoken and written) is essential for effective communication with diverse communities across Karnataka.
- A degree in social work or 0-3 years of relevant experience in community engagement, social work, or similar roles (freshers with a passion for community engagement are welcome).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Research skills to identify target groups and strategize outreach efforts.
- Quick thinking and problem-solving abilities to address on-ground challenges..
- Experience Working in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities is an add-on advantage.
- Experience working with PwDs is a strong plus.
Main Responsibilities:
- Actively engage with communities to promote Adidvara and onboard new users.
- Identify organizations, groups, and networks that can benefit from the platform and establish connections.
- Conduct workshops, gather user feedback, and collaborate with the team to improve platform usability.
- Test platform accessibility and provide actionable feedback for enhancements.
- Develop and execute strategies to ensure user retention and continuous engagement.
- Provide hands-on support to users, addressing their queries and challenges.
This role requires being on the ground, meeting people, and ensuring more users join and benefit from Adidvara.
Note to Candidates: This role is focused on on-ground community interaction and requires extensive travel
across Karnataka. While we value diverse educational backgrounds, formal qualifications beyond social work
(such as MBAs or engineering degrees) are not necessary.
Salary
- ₹2.4 LPA (₹20,000 per month)
- Negotiable by a few thousand depending on experience and qualifications.
