In a span of four years, ATF has impacted the lives of over 1 million Persons with Disabilities through its high-impact programs and initiatives. ATF has built a network of 450+ Assistive Technology startups and innovators across India. ATF is also a co-founder of the +N Inclusive Innovation Network, a global collaboration with organizations across six countries working together to advance inclusive innovation.

Role Description

AssisTech Foundation is seeking an Associate – Partnerships & Fundraising to support the organization’s efforts in identifying funding opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and strengthening the Assistive Technology ecosystem.

This role sits at the intersection of research, partnerships, and fundraising. The Associate will work closely with the leadership team to identify potential donors, track relevant funding opportunities, develop proposals, and support engagement with corporates, foundations, philanthropies, and ecosystem partners.

The position is ideal for someone who enjoys researching opportunities, connecting stakeholders, and translating ideas into partnerships and funding opportunities that enable meaningful social impact.

Role Requirements

  • 01–03 years of relevant experience in fundraising, partnerships, research, consulting, social impact, or related fields. Exceptional fresh graduates with strong research and writing abilities are encouraged to apply.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Policy, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Economics, Communications, or related fields.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to identify funding opportunities and potential partners.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to develop concept notes, proposals, and partnership documents.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and timelines simultaneously.
  • Ability to conduct structured outreach and initiate conversations with potential partners.
  • Comfort working with research tools, digital platforms, and AI-enabled tools for opportunity tracking and lead generation.
  • Familiarity with the CSR ecosystem, philanthropy, social impact sector, or startup ecosystem is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Opportunity Identification

  • Identify and track potential funding opportunities including CSR partnerships, philanthropic foundations, institutional donors, and grant-making organizations.
  • Monitor and evaluate relevant RFPs, grant calls, and partnership opportunities aligned with ATF’s programs and initiatives.
  • Conduct research on prospective partners to understand their funding priorities, thematic focus areas, and past engagements.
  • Build and maintain a database of potential donors, partners, and collaborators.

Proposal Development & Fundraising Support

  • Support the preparation of concept notes, grant proposals, and partnership proposals.
  • Assist in developing pitch decks, program briefs, and other materials required for fundraising and partnerships.
  • Coordinate with internal program teams to gather inputs, data, and impact narratives required for proposals.
  • Support timely submission and documentation of funding applications.

Partnerships & Outreach

  • Support outreach to potential partners including corporates, CSR teams, foundations, philanthropists, and institutional donors.
  • Assist in initiating conversations through structured cold outreach and organic engagement opportunities.
  • Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and engagement with prospective partners.
  • Support leadership in strengthening relationships with existing partners and collaborators.

Ecosystem Partnerships & Collaboration Building

  • Conduct research on ecosystem stakeholders including startups, NGOs, academic institutions, government bodies, and sector networks relevant to Assistive Technology and disability inclusion.
  • Identify opportunities for strategic collaborations and ecosystem partnerships that strengthen ATF’s programs and initiatives.
  • Support the development and coordination of ecosystem partnerships.
  • Follow up with partners to move collaborations from initial discussions to implementation.

Pipeline & Opportunity Management

  • Maintain and regularly update the fundraising and partnerships pipeline.
  • Track proposal submissions, partner engagements, and opportunity progress.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups with prospective partners and stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized records of outreach, partnerships, and funding opportunities.

Ecosystem Intelligence & Strategic Inputs

  • Track trends in CSR priorities, philanthropy, and institutional funding relevant to ATF’s mission.
  • Identify emerging partnership opportunities aligned with Assistive Technology and disability inclusion.
  • Contribute research insights that strengthen ATF’s partnership and fundraising strategy.

Exposure & Learning Opportunity

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leaders across corporates, foundations, philanthropies, startups, and ecosystem organizations working in the field of Assistive Technology and disability inclusion.

The Associate will gain exposure to strategic partnerships, fundraising, resource mobilization, ecosystem building, and social innovation, while contributing to programs that enable technology-driven inclusion for Persons with Disabilities.

Remuneration

Indicative range: ₹3–6 LPA. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skillset, and overall fit for the role. Exceptional candidates may be considered beyond this range.
